About Meditation
With the multitude of responsibilities we have, it is easy to lose grasp of our place and purpose in the ever growing complexity of life. In the increasing demand to be more attentive to the worries of the external world we will also need to be more attentive to the strength of our roots as the foundation of our being and stability of our future. Like a tree whose branches are shaken by the monsoons, we too are only held firm by our roots during the storms of life.
Unfortunately it is seldom taught how to really reconnect with our deeper selves as, for many, it still yet remains shrouded in theory, uncertainty, and mysticism. But as the onset of our changing world has begun, the necessity to grow deeper in awareness and realization becomes critical at this very moment. We can truly learn to face adversities with strength and confidence, unwaveringly. Just as the lantern’s flame sits warm and steady behind the glass amidst the storms, it still radiates its warmth and light to all who need it.
The opportunity to learn meditation offers more than just calmness, steadiness and inner strength; it offers the opportunity to become aware of our inner landscape. Connecting to our integral workings in this way can bring a more meaningful connection to our environment, to those around us, and lead to more profound changes in our overall life. Enhancing our intuition and unlocking our psychic abilities (which we all have) is a profound upgrade to our depth and experience which we will receive in life.
Regardless of age, sex, color, or religion, we all share this common internal being and foundation. And, we are all welcome to accept the invitation to meet our deeper self and invoke a blossoming filled with love, joy, strength, and satisfaction!
What will be taught? In this course will be taught basic fundamentals of our inner nature, techniques to relax the body and mind, breathing exercises, concentration, and guidance in the following areas:
• Breathwork – In this section we will learn various techniques in breathwork aimed at invigorating the body so as to promote a calmer mind and focused attention which is a foundation for meditation.
• Mindfulness – In this section we will learn various techniques to develop a specific level of awareness which relaxes focus from the immediate physical word and expands awareness to a more expanded perception of our reality thus making way for perceiving spirit energy.
• Pranayama – Here we will learn some skills in perceiving spirit energy and learning to move that energy through our bodies through the force of breath, thus enabling us to charge our body, mind, energy fields, meridians, and remove stagnant energy from these places.
• Self-Inquiry – Here we will learn the technique of Advaita Vedanta, the ancient practice of self-inquiry where we learn how to trace the stream of our consciousness from our smaller self to our greater Self.
• Being in the Present Moment – Learn how our entire being is left scattered amongst our world and how to withdraw your energy from the conceptual mind, from the emotions, and from all timelines and reintegrate it along with intensifying your presence so as to experience the fullness of your being in the present moment. Become master of your universe by being anchored in the present moment!
• Finding Perfection – Learn how to see the world exactly as it is and to allow it to be exactly as it is. Learn that all people, places and things in the world are meant to be imperfect so that we may learn and understand the meanings behind them and rise to a higher consciousness. By learning to see that the world is perfectly imperfect we are able to find the perfection in all things.
• Releasing Hostages – Learn that sometimes the way we hold people, places, things and experiences in us can create tensions and resistances stored within our body. Just the same, those energy masses create connections with the people who are associated with those experiences. Just as thought is a driving force in the Law of Attraction, those thoughts can hold not only ourselves but other people back in their own growth and evolution. Learning to release them, not just for our own good but for theirs as well helps clear unwanted energy within and around us and creates a more harmonious way of living with others in our lives or even for those who are no longer in our lives.
• Energetic Hygiene – Learn how to become aware and cognizant of the people and places around you as well as cords, energies and influences from others that may be attached to you. Learning how to clear your energy field and recalling your energy back to you helps promote energetic hygiene but also is the foundation for further spiritual development.
• Shadow Work – Learn how to scan your body and begin to sense stored emotions within is and around it. Sensing into these and creating a process where we can acknowledge, feel and release these stored emotions helps to clear our body/mind/spirit complex to regain proper energy flow and continue evolving on a higher level.
• And much more!! – Currently we have enough material compiled to fit comfortably in a twelve-week course and new lessons are constantly being added. Classes are available by piecemeal or discounted as a solid course. We also have coaching available for those who already have an established meditation routine but would like some guidance in elevating their practice to a higher level. In this life we have learned the physical and mental aspects of our human being. But it is only through random encounters that we start to get an inkling of our spiritual nature. There is a vast inner landscape in each and every one of us, through which we are all connected. By using the mind to bring calmness and deeper awareness, we are able to become aware of our spiritual/energy bodies, the flow of energy, how to remove blockages, and how to heighten our sense of light, love, and happiness through our interconnected inner world.
